Abstract:
To address the issues of low accuracy and low data utilization in measuring magnetic parameters of specimens using the first and second Gaussian positions of proton magnetometers, this study developed an improved horizontal placement method for proton magnetometer measurement. Based on the theoritical formula for the magnetic field of a sphere, the calculation formula for the horizontal placement method was derived, and the work flow was designed. By collecting 24 valid data points, the effects of off-center specimen boxes, irregular specimen shapes, and magnetic inhomogeneity in specimens can be mitigated.
