Abstract:
The Guilaizhuang gold deposit is the largest structure-hidden, explosion breccia-type gold deposit in western Shandong Province. The ore body displays various characteristics including expansion, narrowing, and branching, resulting in complex and diverse formations. To better understand the spatial distribution of gold ore bodies, enable precise resource management, and improve mining operations, researchers established a comprehensive geological database using Micromine software. This database combines borehole data with other relevant geological information, integrating advanced database technology, three-dimensional modeling techniques, and geological statistical analysis methods. Using this compiled data, researchers created a 3D geological model of the deposit and estimated the resource quantity of the main ore body using the inverse distance weighting method. The calculated results align closely with those obtained through traditional geological block methods, confirming the reliability of the estimates.
