Abstract:
The iron ore in Dahuanggou area of Qingyuan county occurs in the Hongtoushan Formation , which belongs to Neoarchean Qingyuan Group. The boundaries between iron ore and surrounding rock are clear. A total of thirteen iron ore bodies have been delineated in this area, mostly occurring as layered, stratiform-like, and lenticular forms. The average grade of mFe and TFe is 21.61% and 28.76%, respectively. The genetic type of the deposit is classified as sedimentary-metamorphic iron deposit, belonging to the Anshan iron deposit. Through a comprehensive synthesis and study of the geological characteristics of the iron ore in the Dahuanggou area, and a preliminary prospecting prediction model is established, which offers guiding significance for further deep and peripheral prospecting work.
