Abstract: Shanxi Province is exceptionally rich in bauxite resources, ranking as the largest bauxite reserve base in China. Its distinctive resource endowment and metallogenic mechanisms hold significant academic and industrial value. Based on a systematic analysis of the geological characteristics and oreforming conditions of bauxite deposits in Shanxi Province, this study conducts an in-depth investigation on the genetic mechanisms and mineralization enrichment patterns. Furthermore, it summarizes integrated exploration criteria and proposes targeted prospecting directions, providing a scientific foundation for future bauxite exploration in the region.
