Abstract:
The Dabwanli Gold Mine in Feng County, Shaanxi Province, is located in the South Qinling metallogenic belt (Ⅲ), the Fengxian-Taibai metallogenic sub-belt (IV level), and the Pangjiahe-Baishipu metallogenic prospective area (V level). Two gold ore bodies have been preliminarily delineated in the area, which are located in the Carboniferous Sixiakou Formation and bodies are controlled by NNE-trending compressional fault. The ΔT positive magnetic anomalies effectively indicate the distribution characteristics of the ore-controlling structures. Through geochemical rock profile analysis, the variation characteristics of average contents of Au, Cu, and Co were extracted, showing the relationship between gold, copper, and cobalt ore formation and lithology as well as alteration. Based on the research results, the predicted target areas for gold, copper cobalt mineral exploration have been delineated, providing strong technical support for further breakthroughs in mineral exploration in the region.
