Abstract
Geological hazard susceptibility assessment requires foundational data from historical hazard events, where GIS evaluation methods significantly enhance efficiency and accuracy. This study employs an integrated approach combining the information model and analytic hierarchy process. Seven types of geological hazard evaluation factors were selected, including natural slope, terrain undulation, slope structure, distance from structure, rock and soil types, vegetation coverage, and human engineering activities. Using 10 m × 10 m grid cells as assessment units, the entire Jinzhai County was divided into 39, 203, 299 grids for information assignment. The susceptibility of geological hazards in Jinzhai County is further studied, and the classification and zoning of susceptibility are carried out based on expert experience, providing a scientific basis for geological hazard prevention and control.
