Abstract
Xiangquan copper mine in Baoji is located in the early Paleozoic-Mesozoic Cu-Pb-Zn metallogenic belt in the North Qilian-North Qinling Mountains of the Longshan district of north China stratigraphic region. The main strata in this area are middle-shallow metamorphic rocks(basic-acidic volcanic rocks) of the Sinian-Ordovician Huluhe Group. This paper mainly discusses the ore-controlling factors of copper deposits through the geological and petrological characteristics of copper ore bodies. The Xiangquan copper deposit in Baoji occurs in the fracture zone of Dijiagou monzonitic granite in Triassic Tuoshi Pluton, which is mainly controlled by contact zone and fault structure.
