Abstract
Xianghe vanadium deposit belongs to metamorphic sedimentary vanadium deposit occurring in black rock series of the Lower Cambrian Shuigou Formation, in which the host lithology is tectonically fractured-barite silicifiedargillaceous siliceous slate and carbonaceous siliceous slate. Through SEM SEM/EDXS X diffraction surface scanning, electron probe energy spectroscopy analysis and phase analysis, it is believed that vanadium is mainly closely related to omite, followed by kaolinite, gelatate limonite, rutile, and not closely related to quartz, barite, potassium feldspar, dolite and pyrite. Vanadium has no independent minerals, V2O5 in mica is 64.68%, V2O5 in iron oxide and clay minerals 32.34%,and V2O5 in refractory minerals 2.98%. The study on the occurrence state of vanadium elements in this deposit provides a support for studying the origin of similar vanadium deposits and improving the beneficiation process.
