Abstract
Huayin Loess Q1001 thick vein-type molybdenum deposit is located in the Jinduicheng-Huanglongpu molybdenum deposit area, where the Taihua Group and Jixian Alpine Formation are distributed, the regional tectonics are complex, the magmatic activity is strong, calcite quartz veins are developed, and molybdenum deposits are densely distributed(points). The deposit is located in Taihua formation and Jinning period gneissic granite, controlled by the northsouth fracture, which is a large scale molybdenum deposit found in the area with rich grade, and it is a thick carbonate quartz vein type molybdenum deposit, which is accompanied by lead and rare earth minerals.A comprehensive summary and study of the geological characteristics of the deposit will play a certain guiding role in the prospecting of vein type molybdenum deposits in the area.
