Abstract
Shuangwang gold deposit occurs in the east part of the Feng-Tai Devonian hydrothermal sedimentary basin in the West Qinling Mountains, which is the most typical breccia type gold deposit with proven reserves over 70 tons of gold in the Feng-Tai ore concentration area. The mining area of the deposit is divided by Xidaliang into the east and the west sections, containing five breccia bodies with different sizes. In the west section two breccia bodies I and II are exist and two gold mineralized zones KT2 and KT6 are discovered in the body II. One ore body KT6-1 is delineated in albite slate at the north part of the breccia body II. detailed study of the western section of Shuangwang gold deposit indicated that the genetic type of the deposit is(mixed) hydrothermal gold deposit formed by coupling actions of internal and external factors under the four dimensional space-time conditions. The better the coupling of these factors in spatial combination and temporal evolution, the more favorable the gold deposit formation.
