Characteristics And Disaster Prevention Measures Of Dangerous Rock Collapse In Wusangyu Of Huyi District, Xi'an City

The north slope of Qinling Mountains lies in a complex tectonic place with various geological disasters occurring from time to time. Taking the dangerous rock collapse occurring in Wusangyu of Huyi District in Xi’an as an example, this paper investigates its landform, rock lithology, structure and other characteristics, and analyzes in detail the formation mechanism and damage scope of the collapse disaster, in which the stability of the collapse disaster is analyzed by formula calculation and stereographic projection, and the the movement characteristics of dangerous rock mass were analyzed by rockfall simulation. Based on the analysis results, the treatment plan is put forward, which can provide reference for prevention of similar dangerous rock collapse on the north slope of Qinling Mountains.
