Abstract
The Xianyang area has abundant geothermal resources and is one of the first cities to be named as "China Hot Spring Cities". Conventional geophysical methods face significant limitations in urban geothermal exploration due to high interference factors, resulting in insufficient detection depth and accuracy. To address these challenges, this study employs an innovative geophysical approach-seismic frequency resonance technology-to conduct geothermal resource exploration in the study area. By applying this method, stratigraphic wave impedance information within 4000 meters underground was obtained. Combined with previous geological and borehole data, variations in lithology, depth, thickness, and structure (fault) were determined. The results demonstrate that SFR technology is an effective geophysical method and provides critical scientific insights for future geothermal exploration in this area.
