Analysis of jiekou Kimberliite occurring in Xujiaping, Lueyang county of Shaanxi province

The Jiekou rock mass lies in the Mianxian-Lueyang area of the Mian-Lue suture zone with patchy and spherical structure, suffering from strong serpentinization and different degrees of carbonation, in which the content of trace elements basically falls into the range of trace elements of kimberlite occurring in China（Shandong, Liaoning） and other countries,including relatively rich in LREE and large ion lithophilic elements（Cs, Ba, U, Th）, loss（K, Sr） and strong loss of K elements. Kimberlite may result from low partial melting of enriched mantle magma, with less separation and crystallization of olivine and spinel minerals and weaker assimilation mixes during magma evolution. The emental geochemistry suggests that Kimberlite in this area should be poor.
