Reflections on improving the mineral resource management system in Shaanxi Province

Shaanxi province is a major province in terms of mineral resources and mining economy.With the official implementation of the newly rivised Mineral Resources Law of the People's Republic of China and its supporting regulations,coupled with profound changes in regional development conditions and national energy security strategies during the 15th Five-Year Plan period,improving and upgrading mineral resources administration has become a major issue demanding urgent solutions for natural resources authorities at all levels across the province.Based on the endowment of mineral resources and the current development of the mining economy in Shaanxi,This paper briefly analyzes the new situations facing the management of mineral resources in Shaanxi,thoroughly identifies the deficiencies and weaknesses existing in current administrative practices,and puts forward targeted approaches and countermeasures to optimize and improve the mineral resources management system.The research findings are intended to provide references for the high-quality development of Shaanxi's mining economy and the guarantee of national mineral resource security.
