characteristics and risk assessment of landslide occurring in typical loess-red bed area in Baoji City, Shaanxi Province

Most of the north part of the Weihe River in Baoji is covered by loess and loess ridge landform is widely distributed. Geological environment in this area is fragile to geological disasters occurring. Taking typical landslides occurring in the loess-red-layer area of this region as examples, this paper analyzes their development characteristics and formation mechanism, and makes suggestions for the prevention and control of such landslide.
