A Study on the Implementation of Three-Dimensional Seismic Reflection Wave Techniques in the Exploration of Coalfield Geology——With a Focus on the Proposed Construction Site of a Coal Mine Power Plant in Inner Mongolia

    • In the construction and production of coal mines,it is crucial to conduct thorough geological exploration to assess the mine’s geological conditions.Three-dimensional(3D) seismic exploration technology is a highly effective method for addressing geological problems that cannot be resolved through other means. This study utilized a refined 3D reflection wave method in the proposed area of a coal mine power plant in Inner Mongolia to identify the undulating pattern of the base plate of the target coal seam in the mine area,as well as the distribution characteristics of the geological structure, airmining zone, and geological anomalies. The results of the survey were positive, providing significant technological support for the expansion of the power plant.
