Integrated application of micromotion detection methods and high-density electrical methods in the investigation and evaluation of geohazards

    • The utilization of physical exploration technology in the assessment of geological hazards is contingent upon the selection of a suitable detection method. In recent years, the micromotion detection method, which employs environmental noise as a signal source to transform interference into valuable data, has gained popularity due to its strong anti-interference capabilities and minimal construction restrictions. In contrast, the high-density electric method, with its high observation accuracy and resolution resulting from its high sampling density and superimposed observations, offers several distinct advantages. In this study, the micromotion detection method and high-density electric method were jointly applied to geological disaster risk assessment projects in Baota District,Yan’an.The results of the engineering drilling verification confirm the accuracy and reliability of the conclusions derived from the comprehensive comparative study, thereby validating the feasibility and practicality of integrating these two methods in the investigation and assessment of geological disasters and providing a useful reference for future research.
