Application strategies and prospect analysis of integrated exploration technologies for deep mineral prospecting in the Qinling Orogenic Belt

    • As the core component of the Central Orogenic System, the Qinling orogenic belt is featured by complicated tectonics structures, multiple mineralization periods, and abundant mineral resourcds, hosting important ore concentration areas such as the Xiaoqinling,Shanyang-Zhashui and Fengtai regions.Nevertheless, deep mineral prospecting in this belt faces technical challenges including extreme terrain, thick overburden, weak signals, and complex interpretation processes. This study integrates the regional metallogenic background and metallogenic specificity to systematically analyze the main constraints on deep prospecting. It proposes a new comprehensive exploration approach centered on "targeted strategies based on classification,space-ground integration,deep-shallow validation, and data intelligence." Taking three typical ore concentration areas as examples, the study develops corresponding technical pathways:for the Xiaoqinling structural alteration-type gold deposit,it establishes a refined detection model driven by "model-based guidance, tomographic verification, and chemical tracing";for the concealed lead-zincsilver deposits in the Shanyang-Zhashui covered area,it designs a progressive technical framework involving "airborne scanning, penetration capture, and fine characterization";for the Fengtai superimposed lead-zinc-gold deposit,it develops a "dual-type collaborative detection" technical integration.Furthermore, leveraging big data, artificial intelligence, and digital twin technologies, the study envisions the construction of an intelligent system for a "transparent exploration area" in the Qinling orogenic belt, providing systematic and operational technical support for the new round of strategic action for prospecting breakthroughs.
