Geology and metallogenic mode of the Yangsi molybdenum deposit in Zhen'an, Shaanxi

Yangsi molybdenum deposit in Zhen’an, Shaanxi is located in the north edge of Sihaiping rock mass, and occurs in the outer contact zone between the Lower Proterozoic Douling rock group and Sihaiping rock mass. Through field exploration, test analysis and comprehensive research, four molybdenum ore bodies are delineated in the study area, and the ore type was mainly quartz vein molybdenum. The molybdenum deposit is obviously controlled by tectono-magmatism,and the ore-bearing hydrothermal solution has migrated and enriched along the ore-conducting structure, which provides a reference for further prospecting of the same type of molybdenum deposit in this area.
