Abstract
In order to study the role of geophysical methods in the identification and delineation of eco-environmental pollution areas, ground penetrating radar(GPR) and gamma-ray spectroscopy(GMS) were used in the investigation of oil pollution caused by the leakage of a product oil pipeline in Xi’an, the distribution range of the polluted area was determined successfully, and the underground spatial distribution and shape of the pollution source(pollutant) were interpreted, which laid a for expanding the new market of ecological environment exploration in the future
