Abstract
The Ratatotok gold deposit in North Sulawesi of Indonesia lies in the North Sulawesi arc, where the Pacific Plate, Eurasia plate and India plate converge, mainly including two mining areas named Linpog and Nonahoa, in which the ore bodies are distributed at NE-SW direction in the secondary fault belt of the NE-trending fault structure and the ore-bearing rocks are mainly silicified fault breccia. The deposit is an epithermal type gold deposit with obscure characteristics of Carlin-type, showing a certain indicative significance in prospecting ores outside Carlin-type gold deposit in China.
