Crystalline graphite mineralization and resource prospect in the northern Danfeng of Shangluo city, Shaanxi Province

The crystalline graphite mine in northern Danfeng of Shaanxi Province is located in the east of the north Qinling complex island arc complex zone where extensive structures, magma and metamorphic activities exist, containing a large number of crystalline graphite mine and having a good metallogenic background and great prospecting potential. The graphite mine in the area is mainly regional metamorphic crystalline graphite deposit, and the main ore-bearing strata are Yanlinggou Formation of Paleoproterozoic Qinling group and Zhaigen Formation of Middle Proterozoic Xiaheyan Group.Based on the study of the geological features and ore body characteristics of typical deposits, the metallogenic regularity is discussed, the resource prospect prediction is carried out, three metallogenic prospect areas are delineated and the resource potential of crystalline graphite is forecasted to be 15 million tons.
