Study on the metallogenic regularity and prospecting direction of fluorite deposits in Qinling Region,Shaanxi Province

Abstract
Although fluorite is a strategic mineral resource,Shaanxi Province faces challenges such as insufficient supply and lagging exploration.Focusing on fluorite deposits in the Qinling region of Shaanxi,this study systematically analyzes their metallogenic geological setting,deposit types,metallogenic regularities,and ore-forming processes.Results indicate that fluorite deposits in Shaanxi are primarily distributed within the North Qinling,South Qinling orogenic belt and the Northern Daba Shan fold belt,and can be classified into two main types:simple-type(Yushipo-type) and associated-type(Damogoutype).The Yushipo-type deposits occur in fractures within Indosinian-Yanshanian granites,characterized by high ore grades,with metallogenic materials mainly derived from the granite.The Damogou-type deposits coexist with sulfide ores,featuring lower ore grades,and their metallogenic materials are primarily sourced from volcanic rocks.This study suggests that fracture zones within large granite bodies in the northern part of the South Qinling and the North Qinling,as well as areas along both sides of the Songshanhe Fault in the North Dabashan,still hold prospecting potential.It recommends integrated multimethod exploration techniques to identify deep-seated resource potential,thereby providing a scientific basis for the efficient development of regional fluorite resources.
