Building Strategic Reserve Area of National Metallic and Nonmetallic Mineral Resource in Qinling Mountain

The Qinling Mountains are an important ecological security barrier in China, as well as an important mineral resource-rich area in China. In the context of ecological civilization, how to co-ordinate ecological security and resource security in the Qinling region is a major issue in the current development. The main body of the Qinling Mountains is located in Shaanxi. Based on the analysis of the current situation of mineral resources reserves and development and utilization in the Qinling Mountains region of Shaanxi, the problems existing in the existing reserves and development and utilization are analyzed, and it is proposed to consider, from the national strategic level, the integrated consideration of the ecological security background and bottom-line thinking conditions of the Qinling Mountains region in terms of finding,using and restoring minerals, and the establishment of a national strategic reserve of metal and non-metal minerals in the Qinling Mountains, putting forward The strategy of the reserve is to "prioritize protection, increase reserves, rationalize utilization and systematically restore", and proposes specific measures for the strategic reserve from four aspects, so as to contribute to national ecological security and energy resource security.
